Thank you so much for helping us host our 4th big family birthday party at The Place in the last few years. My husband’s 80th birthday party on Feb.17th with 85 guests for lunch went smooth as glass thanks to Ross’s attentive management. I swear you both always treat us like family, and I can’t tell you how good that makes us feel. Ross has such an eye for detail, thinks of things we may have forgotten or not even thought of like appropriate music. He and you Sarah are always on top of things and so accommodating.
And the food!! Delicious! Your chef prepared some of the best baked chicken I’ve ever had. I don’t know who makes the rolls, but they are exceptional as is the cheesecake. Please give our best to your entire staff and may you continue to serve RVA, Glen Allen, and beyond for decades to come. Can’t wait ‘til the next event we can hold at your place, The Place.

“We had our wedding here on 3/11/2023. Sarah and Ross were incredibly responsive, helpful, kind and energetic while working with us on our dream wedding. The venue itself is beautifully set up so you don’t have to do much for decor. It’s big and spacious as well. The food was amazing! Our favorite was the brisket and salmon. So yummy !! Our whole experience was great, and we would surely recommend The PLACE to anyone!”

“PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE visit and consider this venue!! Your guest size is not too small- or too large for them to handle. I want to give a THOROUGH review- so please take the time to read through. Our guest count was about 40 for out October 9th wedding. There are event spaces that they have that can accommodate different size gatherings, so your space does not seem too empty (or cramped). We opted to book the courtyard space (beautiful) for our ceremony, in addition to their reception site indoors; but the weather did not cooperate. Nonetheless, the rain plan for the ceremony (inside) was PERFECT. My now husband and I wanted to look for the most ‘all inclusive’ site- to not have to deal with 1,000 different vendors. The Place’s onsite catering is TOP NOTCH- and their meal/appetizer choices are PLENTIFUL. You may choose buffet or plated (we chose plated); carving stations, opened bar or cash bar- there are so many choices! Sarah and her husband Ross are so accommodating, communicative, and personable- there is seriously no other location to consider. Our wedding day was flawless. They have several decorative items that you may add to build your package (centerpiece add ons, chair covers, easels, Etc). But the tables, chairs, flatware, drink ware, table linens, napkins- are all INCLUDED. NO OUTSIDE RENTAL NEEDED! (Unless you want something specific.) Bring your centerpieces and a smile, Sarah has everything else. Seriously, set up a visit time and speak with her for 15 minutes. You won’t regret it.”

As for the food, why do you all not have a full time restaurant going?AMAZING FOOD. I got sooo many compliments on the food asking “Where’s the restaurant who catered the reception?” “ It was so convenient not having to worry about finding an outside vendor for food or alcohol. Everything is so decently priced and you get exceptional food and service from every staff member. There are some things I would change about my wedding, but I can promise you having our reception at The Place at Innsbrook would not be one of them. Love love love!”

“I had the opportunity to play a wedding at The Place on 10/14/17. From the moment I arrived til the moment I left the owners were awesome. I was treated as a guest and their hospitality was amazing. As a DJ we are often put in the corner and forgot about, that is not the case with The Place. They take care of you and check in to make sure all is well. They were great to work with and we all worked as a team to make seamless transitions from guest arrival - ceremony - cocktail - dinner- reception. These guys are professional and go the extra mile to make sure all is well. Parking is ample, load in/out is a breeze and setup areas are efficient. The food was also great!! I can’t wait to work with The Place again, keep up the great work guys!!
